Disclaimer: We’ll try to make it D.I.Y.

Since my barkada (a group of 5) was able to grab some great deals for Cebu-Bohol flights this coming August (yeah, imagine a P500-peso-roundtrip-fare from AirphilExpress), we are all pretty excited for our once-in-a-bluemoon stress free getaway. So, I must say that as early as now, we want to have our itinerary set. Hmmm.. I hope you guys could help (majority of us haven’t been to Cebu and Bohol). Thanks a lot in advance.

I did my best (to do some intense research), but due to time constraints, I think my best wasn’t good enough (ngeeks, parang kanta lang). Here’s what I got:

Where To Stay:
Since I have the Enjoy Card, we can avail 30-60% off on hotels’ published rates.
Be Resorts
~I met the hotel manager when I attended TravelMart last year. She was able to give me her contact no. so everytime someone asks for a good hotel in Cebu, I recommend Be Resorts; not mentioning that they never fail to give me big discounts. Though I havent tried it myself, I already sent 2 groups to stay here and they said, they love the place. For more info, visit http://www.beresorts.com/

Nice noh? image grabbed from Be Resort’s website

Crown Regency Hotel
~tallest hotel in the country as what they say; where you can enjoy the famous Edge Coaster and Skywalk too.

Where To Eat:
CNT Lechon!!!!
~galit-galit na pag di niyo ako pinakain dito!

~enjoy good food at affordable prices while watching the stunning view of Cebu’s city lights

Panglao Island Nature Resort
~my friend keeps on bugging me that we need to stay in Panglao (I really dont have any idea why). I tried to check some rates and whew! sky-high rates bombarded my sight, P8500/night was really an eye soar! So, maybe we can find an alternative without being so splendid, right? I saw this post in Chyng Reyes’ blog wherein they enjoyed a day tour in Panglao Island Nature Resort for Php350.00. Winner to the max!!!

Danao Adventure Park

  1. Ilang days ba kayo? in Cebu, i recommend na must try yung Skywalk and Edge Coaster (kung sino man may guts.hehe) Remember the distances between the places or islands you are going to.. hindi yan malalapit masyado, unless u rent a van, baka u will spend more time traveling lang. Magellan's cross is a must syempre. At di kumpleto Cebu trip kung di kayo kakain ng CNT sa main branch nila di ba?? πŸ˜‰ We (David & J) stayed in Panglao Island Nature Resort before remember? We stayed sa suite na 13k a night at 6 yrs ago pa yun, anu pa kaya ngayon? Price isn't worth it..food sucks for that kind of price too ;P Beach isn't that great either. i suggest you just stay in Alona Beach, more hotels/resorts to choose from in diff ranges..tsaka mas maraming happenings or activities to do πŸ™‚ If you want to look into the museum sa Baclayon, aside from attending mass,go in the morning, if i remember right, sarado yun ng lunchtime…you can see the tarsiers going to Chocolate hills, coz u will pass by the Tarsier places on way to Chocolate Hills..along the way ang Blood compact site, next is Baclayon, then if you want to see the huge python, then tarsier, then Chocolate hills..we did that in half a day…kasama na yung Loboc river lunch…check mo yung pics namin nun sa Bohol πŸ™‚ – Enyang

Sige, ill check din the Alona Beach. Sana makakuha ng okay na rate.Ah, nagawa niyo yun ng halfday? eh balak pa namin sa Bohol kami magtagal kesa sa Cebu. Thanks sa info sa route and locations ng Baclayon, Chocolate Hills, tarsiers, Blood Compact Site and the huge python pero parang ayoko ata makita yung python na yun, mag Edge Coaster at Skywalk na lang ako, instead. heheheh katakot eh πŸ˜›
