As a traveler, I’ve been watching the night sky from different places, trying to count and wish upon some shooting stars; I have been wondering if there’s any truth behind astrology and carrot reading, oops, I mean tarot reading. This year, I do not know where to go, what to read, and who to rely on (even Simisimi don’t know the answer), so I stand in front of the mirror and asked myself, “What’s for me this 2013?”
To ripen the growing Madam Auring/Zenaida Zeva/Simisimi/PapaJack powers in me, I laid out my carrot cards and ate some tikoy… Harumanumanum… Pak! Pak! Boom!
Cancer
Relationships: Hmmm… Stop watching John Lloyd movies, go out and have fun.
Health: Check your weight, if the arrow goes beyond 55 kg, panic. Dance “Oppa Gangnam Style” everyday for 2 months to reduce weight. Stay away from the refrigerator.
Wealth: Stop biting your nails. You have extra money now to buy imported chocolates.
Lucky Color: Yellow
Lucky Song: Paminsan-minsan by Richard Reynoso
– Popoy
I did some palm reading too. Look.
For this year, I hope for more smiles, more mountains, more beaches & island hopping, and more adventures. I hope I can visit Ifugao again this year. I hope to see the Taal Crater Lake. This year, I want to climb more mountains too – Mount Manalmon, Mount Daguldol, Mount Maculot, and Pico de Loro. I wish I can survive the spelunking in Sagada. I hope I can buy an airline ticket to Angkor Wat too. And of course, what I really want to do this year is to go back to my most favorite island, Calaguas.
This year, I am also planning to launch some shirt designs with travel theme. I hope you guys will like it.
Want some fortune-telling and/or carrot reading? Give me some tikoy. =)

for the month of January with the theme
‘New Beginnings’
hosted by Roj Braga of The Adventures of Adventuroj
What did you like about Calaguas that makes it different from other beautiful tropical islands in our country? Also, what is keribels??? 🙂
@ fyhmd,”Keribels” is a pinoy slang which means that something is doable, possible or can be handled. It may act as a noun or a verb. So if someone's response is “Keribels”, that means, 'it's okay, I can do it' or 'okay, sure, I can handle it'.
Good luck in your 2013 travel plans. Hope each and every travel you'll be planning come true, which reminds me I haven't done my own travel list yet.
I thought you were going to give all the horoscopes LOL. 😀 Was waiting for mine (I'm a Leo). Unfortunately, I don't have tikoy.:DMay your 2013 travel dreams come true!
@ Claire | Traveling Light,I'll eat more tikoy to gain more powers. heheDon't worry once the stars permitted me to read them, I might give you your horoscope. Thanks, same to you Claire!
Can you make predictions for a Libran? hehehe..Looking forward to your shirts! Happy New Year!
😀 Pareho kami ni Claire, was waiting for mine, too. 🙂 May the weather cooperate to make your predictions come true. Perhaps, a weather prediction, too, next time? Happy 2013 to you. 🙂
was the palm reading part real, or just part of your creativity for this post? good luck on your travels, be safe! 🙂
I can see Angkor Wat in your palms and in your 2013 destiny. =>
now that's palm reading hehe! 🙂 I'm afraid that I'll have to say pass on the offer.. it's not that I don't trust your fortune telling skills.. it's just that I love TIKOY more! 🙂
Don't worry, will have it noted – Libra and Leo. 🙂
hehehhe. San napanood yung kay Madam auring with backup dancers? wanna watch it too! Well, anyway, I get inspired when I read posts from travel bloggers. Out of topic but buti pa kayo at maraming resources to go to other places.. I do hope one of these months, our family can go outside the city rin 🙂
@ sarj,It was one of the special features of Marc Logan's report in TV Patrol (weekend) I think. There's this backup dancers in pink, I dont know why they were there in the first place :PYou're right, Im really so thankful that I got invited by Marky last September or October 2011 to join the PTB, and got approved by the admin. I've been learning a lot from them eversince.
@ blogger RAIN,Speaking of Tikoy, which brand is the best? Got to try Eng Bee Tin's Buko Pandan Tikoy, and it was just my first time to eat tikoy. Found it okay, not really that 'awkward' as I imagined. 😛

@ fyhmd,I hope I can really see that awesome place. Hmmm… Dunno if I can consider that song as my favorite, but it's my LSS of all time 😛
I like what you said “Wealth: Stop biting your nails. You have extra money now to buy imported chocolates.” Im no nail-biter but I will support your cause to buy imported chocolates because Im a chocoholic. 🙂
