Talumpok Falls also known as Amatong Falls is located at Talumpok, Sico, Batangas.
Our group was so fortunate to witness and experience this untouched beauty only known to the locals of Lobo Batangas. Thanks to our friend, Alona, who is a certified Batanguena! 🙂
As our sidetrip for our Mount Banoy Climb, everyone was so excited to see the falls and freshen up. On our way to the falls, our guide needed to cut some bamboos just to create a trail for us. (That was also the exact time that I whispered to myself, “Hmmm… this one’s really an unspoiled destination. Not a lot of people have been here yet… obviously.”)
I have not heard alot about this place, I’ll just share the pictures instead.
If you know anything about Talumpok Falls/Amatong Falls, hope you can share it here.

I haven't explore any falls in Batangas yet, just caves, so this is a good reason to revisit Batangas. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Beautiful photos! Great place to refresh yourself during the climb. Falls just like these are also common in the mountains of Bukidnon. 🙂
The falls and basin looks so calming especially now that summer is incoming.
Isn't it amazing when you discover something you are not prepared for and yet it blows your mind. You feel that the world conspires for you to get everything that you want and that you are truly one blessed person? Did you have that feeling when you first stepped to this hidden jewel?
Beautiful photos and a great discovery. It is fun to be one of the trailblazers. Hopefully this mountain remain like it is. Few visitors and maintained the way it was.
Ang ganda! The place looks heavenly. Hoping I could go there too, but I'm not much of a climber lang 😀
Nice set of pics. Question about that last photo though. Where was the water coming from? Is that a hose? 🙂
i was already wowed on the first photo. i want to visit talumpok falls! i love it's unadulterated beauty and i hope it stays that way
@ Alwin Aguirre,i hope too. So that the next generation will still enjoy this kind of places. Indeed, a Paradise! 🙂
@ fyhmd,Yup, that's a hose. The water is from a “bukal”. If the water flowing in the river is not that strong, people put that hose from the bukal.
@ Ria Hazel,Actually, Talumpok Falls is just at the foot of Banoy. No need for a climb, just a little bit of trekking. =)
@ happyphilippines,I havent been to any caves in Batangas. Hope you can share some photos too.
The first photo just looks really amazing. The place is really unspoiled and so natural.
Weeeee! This is a very nice post. It inspires me to check out the place now! Thanks for sharing! 😀
can you share how can we reach the place? and how hard and long the trekking might be or its like walking on a pave way? ty
It will be a combination of walking on a paved street road and walking in a forest. Just make sure to say “tabi tabi po” 🙂
