I'm afraid of wild animals but I want to take the challenge of seeing them in person. Hopefully, I won't pass out. =)

The only things scary were the tigers during circus and the huge crocodiles while they wrestle. The rest, I think they are all gentle.

The loop needs a minimum of 4 days to cover but you could easily spend a week taking your time to explore villages and remote areas off the main route. click for more info On the last part of the loop from Mae Sariang to Chiang Mai you can even take the slightly scenic route via Doi Inthanon Mountain and National Park, the highest point in Thailand.
