The Baguio Bamboo Sanctuary is a hidden gem but is now, slowly becoming known as a must-visit destination in Baguio. It is tucked away from the popular tourist spots of Baguio City and is a perfect place if you want to experience nature at its finest (or if you just want to see that less crowded side of Baguio). This bamboo sanctuary is within the premises of St. Francis Xavier Seminary in Liteng, Pacdal, Baguio.

You can take a stroll through the bamboo forest which features cemented walkways bordered with red bamboo fences. There are also several viewpoints where you can take in the stunning scenery.

To be honest, Baguio Bamboo Sanctuary is not part of our original itinerary. We were supposed to visit Burnham Park (which is 15 to 20 minutes away only) but due to huge flock of tourists and lack of parking slots; after multiple attempts, we gave up and decided to check on another destination instead. So, if you’re looking for a place to get away from it all and connect with nature, the Bamboo Sanctuary in Baguio is the perfect spot.
