Last week, I was in Ifugao with some other travel bloggers for our G.I.V.E. Ifugao Project; we did a quick stop over at that little sari-sari store before heading to another school. While waiting for my Milo Ice Candy, I noticed that a couple of cellphones were hanging at the store’s window sill. Suddenly, a phone rang, and a local went out running to answer the phone. The girl did not get or hold the phone but just pressed the answer button instead.
Tindera: Ah, hindi, dyan lang kasi may signal sa bayan na to.
Watching the girl while she was talking on the phone made me smile, really. It was a happy moment for me. It was a new learning. Simple life, it is. I really want to live in Ifugao.I want to live in Ifugao… soon.
